What can you do?

Here at EngageDiversity, we promote an everyday mentoring experience. We share narratives from successful mentors and the blueprints that make them successful. For more information regarding how you can become a mentor or what makes a successful mentoring program, contact us at info@EngageDiversity.net.

There are several ways for you to become a mentor. First, you can start with your own children if you have any. Children not only want a provider and caregiver but a parent who is also a confidant. Children want someone they can learn from and who is willing to provide advice about a multitude of issues. Second, you can focus on other children and young adults in your family who need a mentor. Third, you can look at your friends’ children or your childrens’ friends. Additionally, you can become involved in an organized program such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Children need us. Do your part and serve as a mentor.
